Provenance: From the church of Antiphonitis in Kalograia. Fragment from the fresco composition of the Stem of Jesse. The fresco has been fragmented and was stolen by Turkish smugglers after the Turkish invasion and occupation of Northern Cyprus in 1974. It was found in 1997 in the appartments of the Turk Aydin Dikmen in Munich and was confiscated. After a long trial in the Court of Munich it was repatriated from Munich (Germany) in November 2013
